Incorporated in 2016, Avawell is an accredited Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program and support services provider.

Through our programs, we have delivered preventative, early intervention, and referrals to both children and youth with serious mental illnesses.

We collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders, including the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Crisis Response, Woodstock Job Corps, and our Office of Health Care Quality, just to name a few.

From inception, Avawell has focused on continuously strengthening its capacity to provide vital community-based services to help support families and build strong communities.  This has been achieved through a methodical application of basic principles of program integrity, confidentiality, self-regulation, and strong internal governance.
